A heist game where you solve supplementary, complementary, vertical, and parallel-lines-with-a-transversal angle puzzles to crack each room's security system, then sneak the robber past roaming patrol guards through a maze to reach the exit. Teaching Notes for Educators

Laser Heist covers the full angle-relationships unit - supplementary and complementary pairs, vertical angles formed by two crossing lines, and the full set of corresponding/alternate/co-interior relationships created when a transversal cuts two parallel lines - by making each relationship the literal security system standing between the crew and the vault. A correct angle isn't just a point scored; it's translated directly into a real illuminated cone the student then has to physically dodge, so the geometry has an immediate, visible consequence instead of just a checkmark.

One relationship per sector, building in difficulty. Laser Grid (complementary) → Watch Team (supplementary) → Camera Crossfire (vertical) → Duct Crawl (parallel lines + transversal) → a mixed Vault Core boss round, matching the natural teaching progression from a single right-angle split up to the full eight-angle transversal figure.
The solved angle becomes a real, dodgeable hazard. Answer correctly and the exact wedge you just calculated is cast as an actual camera cone in a Pac-Man-style maze - a tangible payoff that ties the abstract "danger zone" of a geometry diagram to something the student has to actually navigate around.
Every relationship is labeled by name, not just solved. Each puzzle displays which relationship is in play (e.g. "Alternate Interior Angles," "Co-Interior Angles (Same-Side Interior)"), reinforcing the vocabulary alongside the calculation instead of treating every problem as an undifferentiated "find x."
Proof, not just claims. Any angle that lands on exactly 90° is marked with the standard geometric right-angle square, so "these are complementary because they sum to 90" is something a student can visually verify, not just trust.
A frozen clock protects a second attempt. A wrong answer doesn't reveal the solution or move on - it retries the identical puzzle with the timer stopped, so a student gets one genuine unpressured second look before the room changes.
Practice mode isolates exactly what a student needs. Check off any combination of the four relationship types for untimed, no-stakes, immediate-feedback repetition - useful for review sessions targeting one specific weak spot rather than the full campaign sequence.
Low-stakes overall. No accounts, and Practice mode in particular carries no score, timer, or lives at all - just reps.
