Our commitment

We want StudentMathGames to be usable by as many students, teachers, and parents as possible. This page describes what's currently in place, and where we know we fall short.

What's accessible today

Known limitations

The games themselves are rendered on an HTML canvas - a single graphic that, like a photo, cannot currently be read or navigated by screen readers, and menu buttons within a game require a mouse or touch to select. This means the games are not yet fully accessible to blind or low-vision players, or to players who cannot use a mouse. We recognize this is a real limitation, not a minor one, and it's something we're aware of rather than something we consider solved.

Feedback

If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, or have a suggestion, please tell us - see our Contact page. Reports like this directly shape what we prioritize improving.
