Why this site exists

Hi, I'm TheCodingEducator

I'm an 8th grade math teacher. Like most teachers, I'm always looking for ways to make practice feel less like a worksheet and more like something students actually want to do.

Why I built this

I'd find great educational games online - the kind that make kids want to practice math - only to discover our school's internet filters blocked them. Most of those sites were never built with a classroom in mind: they were loaded with tracking, ads aimed at adults, or data collection that no school could responsibly allow in front of a room full of minors.

So I decided to build my own. This site is COPPA compliant from the ground up - no accounts, no logins, no personal data collected from students, and ads configured specifically so they're safe for young players. That's not an afterthought here; it's the whole reason this site exists. It means a teacher can pull it up on a classroom projector or a school computer without worrying it'll get blocked or bring up something inappropriate.

How I design the games

I'm not a professional game developer - I'm a teacher who happens to code. Every game here is built the way I'd build a lesson: with real students, and the range of levels they walk in at, in mind.
